Wish You Were Here by David Gilmour

David Jon Gilmour, (born 6 March 1946), is an English
musician, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
He is best known for his work as the guitarist and
co-lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd.

When I hear this song I remember the summer of 2003.
I was working in a hotel and the guitarist in the restaurant
was playing this song every evening.

"Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?"

Dark Horse covered by Tyler Ward

I was bored from Blogger, thus I was out for a while, but now I'm back.
And I found a new hero who is making acoustic covers.
I listened Dark Horse from Katy Perry in the 56th Grammy awards for the first time.
Tyler Ward realized a similar performance with the acoustic guitar, which I liked so much!
I should search more for acoustic songs.
Maybe you can propose some?

"Make me your Aphrodite
Make me your one and only
But don’t make me your enemy"

Need You Now covered by Boyce Avenue and Savannah Outen

Two days ago I turned back to real life -to a hard working area-,
thus I couldn't share anything for you to listen and relax, now I'm back in Blogger.
This song is the soundtrack of Bridget Jones's Diary (2011)
and Lady Antebellum was performing this song in the movie.
Acoustic version is covered by Boyce Avenue and Savannah Outen.

"It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now
Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without
I just need you now"

Mrs. Cold by Kings of Convenience

I heard this song in the car while we were going to the most famous mall in Bursa.
As the name of the song was written on the radio, I tagged again not to forget it.
The song was also known by my husband.
Kings of Convenience is an indie folk-pop duo from Norway.
They're singing like it's a lullaby
As the original video is denied in our country, I must share this one!

"Okay I get it, okay I see
You were fronting because you knew
you'd find yourself vulnerable around me
Okay I get it, okay I see
I step too close to your boundaries"

Whataya Want From Me by Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert is now 32 years old.
I thought that he's younger than me but this time I'm also surprised by him.
Adam Mitchel Lambert made music history as the first openly gay artist
to achieve this top charting position.

 "Baby you're beautiful
And there's nothing wrong with you
It's me, I'm a freak
But thanks for lovin' me

Try covered by Nicole Cross

After Pink's performance @ 56th Grammy awards, I wanted to share this song.
But this time, the singer is not Pink, it is a young lady, Nicole Cross.
There's not enough information about this girl on Google,
but we'll hear more in the future.

"Where there is desire, there is gonna be a flame
Where there is a flame, someone's bound to get burned
But just because it burns, doesn't mean you're gonna die
You've gotta get up and try"

Woman When I've Raised Hell by Josh T. Pearson

This song is the soundtrack of the movie, The Counselor which we watched yesterday.
It wasn't very clear to hear the lyrics during the flow of the movie,
but Shazam is my hero for such kind of issues.
With a few lyrics, it's able to find the song that you want to tag, so I like it!
Josh T. Pearson is a musician from Texas.

"Woman when I've raised hell, you of all people are gonna know it
There'll be nothin' not nailed down left unturned in this home
Then your old friend silence will creep back into this pettiest of all places
He'll ask you again, "Which is better or for worse, livin' with me or livin' with all my ghosts?"

Although she is 25 years old she has already won 7 Grammy awards.
Taylor was very pretty and cute in the 56th Grammy awards,
and she attracted the attention on herself with her shining dress also.
Thus, today's guest on my blog is the American singer-songwriter Taylor Alison Swift.
One additional note about her: Forbes estimates that she is worth over $220 million.

"You go talk to your friends talk to my friends talk to me
But we are never ever ever ever getting back together
Like ever..."

Wonderful Days covered by Miss Montreal

I found this song during my search on Deezer from "Acoustic Dance Sessions" list.
In my opinion acoustic cover of Wonderful Days is better than the original version of this song.
I guess I'll find more from Deezer and Spotify.

Roos-Anne (Sanne) Hans better known by her stage name Miss Montreal
was born in 1984 and she is a Dutch singer-songwriter and guitar player.

"I prayed on my knees to heaven above
Send me somebody please someone to love"
