We Can't Stop / Price Tag Mashup Cover by Megan Davies

Last night while I was searching for something new, I met with some "mashup" songs.
Then I wrote "acoustic mashup cover" in Youtube's search bar
and I listened Megan Davies's lots of mashup covers.
That was the first time that I listened a live mashup.
We Can't Stop and Price Tag are the two songs that I like so much.
That's the perfect match I think.

"price tag can't stop!"

Uptown Funk by Ben Vickers

From my point of view no one can sing this song better than Bruno Mars
but I tried to find out an unknown version
and this one the best that I searched for.

"Stop
Wait a minute
Fill my cup put some liquor in it"

Love Me Like You Do by Boyce Avenue

Maybe I'm too late to share this song,
that it was the soundtrack of the movie Fifty Shades of Grey and
performed by Ellie Goulding actually.
Today I found a nice cover of Boyce Avenue and couldn't stop myself.
Enjoy it!

"Yeah, I'll let you set the pace
Cause I'm not thinking straight
My head spinning around I can't see clear no more
What are you waiting for?"

Whisper the Answer by Gregory and the Hawk

We were in a hurry to have the breakfast quickly last Sunday,
cause my husband had to go to work and I was very sleepy as it was 8 AM!
Then he opened Morning Acoustic from Spotify and this song started.
I have an ukulele which I basically call as "Uku" and still cannot play well.
But I love songs played with ukulele so much.

"You always thought twice didn't you
My baby blue... You'd say,
'What goes around comes around'
Didn't you?"

You and Me by Lifehouse

I was just spending my time by surfing on the internet
and Spotify was supporting me with the "Afternoon Acoustic" list.
Then I heard You and Me cover of Boyce Avenue.
I always think that originals are better
as sometimes this idea becomes a failure but I still insist on.

"What day is it? And in what month?
This clock never seemed so alive
I can't keep up and I can't back down
I've been losing so much time

'Cause it's you and me and all of the people with nothing to do, nothing to lose
And it's you and me and all of the people
And I don't know why I can't keep my eyes off of you "

Dear Mr. President by Pink

There's nothing to write so much thing about Pink. Briefly, I admire her.
After I listened Ina Müller's voice for this song, I tried to find out the original version
and when I saw Pink's version, I directly made a decision to share the original one.

"Dear Mr. President,
Come take a walk with me.
Let's pretend we're just two people and
You're not better than me.
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly."

Nobody's Perfect by Jessie J

I like listening to Jessie J's songs so much and
Nobody's Perfect is the first song that I listened from her.

"And I hate that I let you down
Yeah, I feel so bad about it
I guess karma comes back around
'Cause now I'm the one that's hurting, yeah
And I hate that I made you think
That the trust we had is broken
So don't tell me you can't forgive me
'Cause nobody's perfect, no"

Liar Liar by Cris Cab

Cristian Cabrerizo better known as Cris Cab (born January 21, 1993) is an American singer-songwriter who has become well known with his international hit "Liar Liar".
His songs are a fusion of pop, reggae, and soul.
I like especially reggae songs so much, therefore today's song is coming from Cris Cab.
Have a funny Sunday!

"Liar, liar,
She's on fire
She's waiting there, around the corner
Just a little aid, and she'll jump on ya'"

Rude by MAGIC!

MAGIC! is a Canadian reggae fusion band.
In 2013, they released their debut single, "Rude", from their debut album Don't Kill the Magic.
This was one of the songs that we listened during our vacation this summer.

"Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life?
Say yes, say yes 'cause I need to know
You say I'll never get your blessing 'til the day I die
Tough luck, my friend, but the answer is 'No'"

Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus

I couldn't find someone else who sings Wrecking Ball better than Miley Cyrus.
I found BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge version available on Youtube.
Wrecking Ball's original music video stirred up most of the people
who are watching it for the first time.
But then due to cencorship issues, producers are forced to revise the music video.

"I came in like a wrecking ball
I never hit so hard in love
All I wanted was to break your walls
All you ever did was wreck me"

Bump covered by Hope Murphy

Baby Blue is an English rapper and singer.
She is getting known by her new song Bump nowadays.
Hope Murphy, Britain's Got Talent 2012 singer, made a nice piano cover of this song.

"And I can never understand why you ask me
My heart is dying in your hands but my heart beats
It goes bump bump bump bump, bump bump bump
It goes bump bump bump bump, bump bump bump

And I can never understand why you told lies
I wanna move on but I can't for my heart cries
It goes bump bump bump bump, bump bump bump
It goes bump bump bump bump, bump bump bump"

Another Love by Tom Odell

I listened this song while I was in the car and going to work.
Of course I tagged it by using Shazam.
PowerFM in Turkey is the best radio station for finding out nice and new songs.

Tom Peter Odell (born 24 November 1990) is a British singer-songwriter
and won the BRITs Critics' Choice Award in early 2013.

"And if somebody hurts you, I wanna fight
But my hands been broken, one too many times
So I'll use my voice, I'll be so fucking rude
Words they always win, but I know I'll lose"

Back to Black by Amy Winehouse

Amy Jade Winehouse (14 September 1983 – 23 July 2011) was an English singer-songwriter
known for her deep contralto vocals.
After years of abusing drugs, then alcohol,
Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning on 23 July 2011.
Her album Back to Black posthumously became the UK's best-selling album
of the 21st century, at that point.

"We only said goodbye with words
I died a hundred times
You go back to her
And I go back to black"

Who Knew by P!nk

It is becoming hard to share an acoustic song for each day.
I started to feel myself good when I can share a song once a week actually.
Therefore I've changed my mind to "share whenever you can". :)

Alecia Beth Moore Hart (born September 8, 1979), better known by her stage name Pink (stylized as P!nk), is an American singer-songwriter and actress.
I admire her performance and voice.

"I'll keep you locked in my head
Until we meet again"

Mirrors by Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake is 33 years old and married with Jessica Biel at the moment.
He has a concert on the 26th of May this year in Istanbul, Turkey.
I like him so much, so I wanted to share a song from him for the whole last week.
I'm a little bit busy nowadays and I can't find the opportunity to share a song for each day.

"'Cause I don't wanna lose you now
I'm lookin' right at the other half of me"

Wish You Were Here by David Gilmour

David Jon Gilmour, (born 6 March 1946), is an English
musician, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
He is best known for his work as the guitarist and
co-lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd.

When I hear this song I remember the summer of 2003.
I was working in a hotel and the guitarist in the restaurant
was playing this song every evening.

"Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?"

Dark Horse covered by Tyler Ward

I was bored from Blogger, thus I was out for a while, but now I'm back.
And I found a new hero who is making acoustic covers.
I listened Dark Horse from Katy Perry in the 56th Grammy awards for the first time.
Tyler Ward realized a similar performance with the acoustic guitar, which I liked so much!
I should search more for acoustic songs.
Maybe you can propose some?

"Make me your Aphrodite
Make me your one and only
But don’t make me your enemy"

Need You Now covered by Boyce Avenue and Savannah Outen

Two days ago I turned back to real life -to a hard working area-,
thus I couldn't share anything for you to listen and relax, now I'm back in Blogger.
This song is the soundtrack of Bridget Jones's Diary (2011)
and Lady Antebellum was performing this song in the movie.
Acoustic version is covered by Boyce Avenue and Savannah Outen.

"It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now
Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without
I just need you now"

Mrs. Cold by Kings of Convenience

I heard this song in the car while we were going to the most famous mall in Bursa.
As the name of the song was written on the radio, I tagged again not to forget it.
The song was also known by my husband.
Kings of Convenience is an indie folk-pop duo from Norway.
They're singing like it's a lullaby
As the original video is denied in our country, I must share this one!

"Okay I get it, okay I see
You were fronting because you knew
you'd find yourself vulnerable around me
Okay I get it, okay I see
I step too close to your boundaries"
